Are you a Sacred Activist?

Last week’s Intuition Insight was Sacred Activism and the Universal guidance was about speaking up and speaking out.

Sacred Activism could be anything from making a soulful and heartfelt donation to charity, soulfully signing a petition for change or actively using your voice on why change is needed and the change you want to see in the world.

Speaking up can be hard for us intuitive, spiritual and empathic types and often we start softly and gently and as gain confidence, our voice crescendos to be heard more widely.

So what did you do over the past week to demonstrate Sacred Activism? Take a deep breath and gently reflect back over the past week. Did you speak up for yourself or someone else? Were you courageous enough to tell someone that you disagreed with their ideas and peacefully told them your views without creating more conflict?

Last week I found myself being moved even more deeply about what is happening in the world and how this is impacting children, our future generations. Often I found myself in a day dream of living a big farmhouse with loads of bedrooms, where I could give a home to children who were misplaced, frightened and in need of care and love. That is very far from the current reality, so instead, I consciously chose some organisations were are supporting children, both at home and overseas to help feed, clothe and shelter them. I have donation to two Unicef organisations in conflict zones, the Trussell Trust that helps feed families and a local charity called Cash for Kids, also helping families to feed their children. These donations were my acts of Sacred Activism last week. Often we cannot do the things we want to do to support others in such extreme conditions and the alternative is to make donations to those in a position to do so. I chose these organisations with conscious thought and my own intuitive guidance.

But Sacred Activism goes on for longer than one week. Until there is something more practical that I can do, I have made a commitment to continue making monthly donations. My donations may be small in number and amount, but they are filled with soulful love that is immeasurable. I believe that spiritual feeling and vibrational frequency lets the Universe know to attract more financial abundance to those organisation so they can continue to help children.
