Like an iceberg, our mind has hidden depths and much is held in our subconscious. Hypnotherapy can be effective way to lose weight, deal with anxiety and stress and improve sleep issues or insomnia.

Anxiety could be related to every day life or a specific situation such as taking an exam, a driving test, going for an interview.

For weight reduction a large part of being successful is having your head ‘in the right place’. Mindset is important so whether you want to stop snacking or eat more healthily hypnotherapy can support your weight loss plans.

Life is always better after a good night’s sleep. Ever had that feeling of looking at the clock in the early hours of the morning and then being anxious because you have to be up in a few hours? Hypnotherapy to support improved sleeping includes relaxation techniques to help you get the rest you deserve.

Planning a holiday that means a long haul flight that fills you with dread or a regular trip to the dentist that fills you with fear? Or is there something else that you are avoiding because you find yourself irrationally worried or concerned about what will happen?

Feel the fear and do it anyway is a well known phrase but it’s also the way to get beyond the fear. Hypnotherapy provides a safe, comfortable and effective way to cope with and overcome irrational fears that may be holding you back from having a great life experience.

Other phobias and fears that hypnotherapy can be used for include needles/injections, dentist/doctors/hospitals, spiders, dogs or animals in general or materials/objects, public speaking or making presentations.

Knowing what you want from life is just the start of living a happy and fulfilled life. The next step is then how to make that life a reality.

Making your dream life a reality can bring up many emotions and feelings related to your own value, self-worth/esteem and self-confidence. Do I deserve this? Can I really make this happen? What if there isn’t enough of this for me?

When making life changes or working towards a new dream, these thoughts are natural and to be expected. However, if these thoughts keep hanging around, it’s time to show them the door. Using intuitive coaching exercises with imagery and visualisation, you can learn techniques to curb these thoughts live an abundant life.

Quitting or stopping a long-standing habit can feel daunting when you first start. Whether you want to stop smoking, stop biting your nails, give up sugar, stop drinking or to quit caffeine, knowing and understanding your motivation to quit your habit drives your success.

So if you want to stop smoking to be healthier, be a role model to your family or to save money, or all of these, consider your reason for quitting. Maybe you want to stop the late night snacking to be healthier or to stop biting your nails because you know it’s unhygienic.

Your motivation for quitting the habit will be explored with you as part of the hypnotherapy appointment.

To be successful in quitting a habit the motivation and reason to quit has to be strong and you have to know it will provide a significant benefit in your life.

removing obstacles - intuitive coaching

My mum used to tell me ‘if ifs and ands where pots and pans, tinkers would have no trade’. As a kid I had no idea what that meant but I had lots of what if questions.

This can still happen to us adults. What if it rains on our family holiday? What if I don’t get that promotion? What if I don’t get that job or that relationship, what if the train is late and I miss the interview for my prefect job. The ‘what if’ list is endless. Rarely do we say to ourselves, but what if everything goes to plan and the sun shines and it works out perfectly.

We create most of these ‘what ifs’ and other obstacles for ourselves. Learning to reframe these thoughts and remove our self-created obstacles will improve our outlook on life. Identify these obstacles and breaking them down creates a significant shift in mindset and wellbeing.
